Job Description:
FleetUp is hiring a Senior HR & Operations Manager to oversee Human Resources and assist the Finance team. We’re looking for a team player who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. This is the perfect role for a person who has experience in HR/Accounting and wants to develop their skillset further in general Business Management.
Responsibilities include:
- HR: Head our Human Resources efforts. You will be managing all our people processes, helping to create/ improve the following areas:
- Hiring: create a solid recruiting funnel with special emphasis on the candidate experience and building our employer brand. Working with hiring managers, design JDs and ensure that FleetUp is doing its utmost to create a diverse, just, and inclusive team.
- Compensation: create comp-role leveling within the organization and analyze industry wage standards to ensure that FleetUp is competitive; process all compensation changes with payroll, etc. Also ensure that all roles are correctly identified as exempt/non-exempt.
- Benefits: design a benefits package that is both attractive to employees and keeps costs in line. You will handle the remarketing at renewal, manage broker and vendor relations, and roll out open enrollment and education for the employees.
- Performance Reviews: design and manage a performance review system that matches FleetUps values and business goals
- Corporate Culture: be our FleetUp champion and torchbearer! Continuously identify and implement ways to improve the employee experience by engaging with our employees.
- Compliance: ensure that FleetUP continues to be up-to-date with all state and federal labor regulations; manage employee data and own all People Ops systems ensuring information is current, secure, and confidential.
- Leaves of Absence: manage our PTO, sick leave, and all other leaves of absence, making sure that we are compliant with all state and federal rules.
- Coaching: continuously work with managers and employees to improve work relations management skills and communications
- Finance You, under the guidance of our Controller, will assist with the following finance and accounting duties:
- Process payroll
- Assist with Monthly Close/Revenue Recognition Process
- Review, monitor, and manage Budgets and Cash Flow
- Assist finance with tax payments and reporting as needed
- Manage our banking (and other vendor) relations
- Process and reconcile employee expense reports
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an HR leader, start-up experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years basic bookkeeping experience
- Experience with ADP or other HR Management Systems
- Strong working knowledge of Quickbooks
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, Finance/Accounting or related field (however, will accept work experience in HR and accounting in lieu of specific major)
- Fluency in Korean or Spanish a plus
- Strong Leadership Experience
- Experience managing benefits, open enrollment, and qualifying life events
- Strong knowledge on labor law, compliance, and policy management
