What You'll Do as the Senior Tax Manager / Tax Leader:
- Lead and help scale the firm's tax preparation and advisory function
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory support to business owners and high-net-worth clients
- Review complex business tax returns and oversee tax compliance work
- Mentor and support junior tax staff and help elevate overall team capabilities
- Build and improve workflows, processes, and operational structure within the tax function
- Collaborate with leadership on firm growth initiatives and future acquisitions
- Participate in client meetings and serve as a trusted advisor on financial and tax-related matters
- Support broader accounting and advisory initiatives during non-peak tax periods
- Deliver a high-quality client experience through proactive communication and responsiveness
Must-Haves as the Senior Tax Manager / Tax Leader:
- Active CPA license
- Public accounting experience
- Strong background in tax advisory and complex business tax strategy
- Experience with complex depreciation work and business tax planning
- Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving and evolving environment
- Strong accountability, ownership mentality, and proactive communication style
- Interest in mentoring and helping guide junior team members
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats across tax and advisory functions
