Must Haves as the Corporate Legal Assistant:
- ***Minimum of 2 years of experience in Trust and Estate planning support***
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to multitask, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive matters
What You’ll Do as the Corporate Legal Assistant:
- Prepare, revise, and finalize legal correspondence, pleadings, and documents related to Trust and Estate matters
- Manage document organization, including indexing, updating meeting materials, and maintaining spreadsheets
- Draft routine legal forms such as deposition notices and legal invoices
- Reprioritize tasks and deadlines to meet the needs of a dynamic team
- Handle confidential client and firm information with discretion and professionalism
Nice to Haves as the Corporate Legal Assistant:
- Familiarity with legal billing software or document management systems
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys or high-volume legal teams
- Prior law firm experience in estate, probate, or elder law practices
