Trueline's client, a growing provider of commercial pool and mechanical system services, is seeking a Junior Service Technician to join their team based out of Jacksonville, NC with regional travel. This is a hands-on role supporting maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of commercial pool systems, offering strong training and a clear path to advancement.
What You'll Do as the Junior Service Technician:
- Assist senior technicians with servicing and maintaining commercial pool systems
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic repairs on mechanical and plumbing equipment
- Support troubleshooting efforts and learn diagnostic techniques
- Complete pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical checks, and inspections
- Safely operate hand and power tools on job sites
- Document service work and communicate updates to supervisors
- Interact professionally with customers on-site
Must-Haves as the Junior Service Technician:
- 2 years of experience in construction, mechanical, or technical work
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade
- Basic understanding of plumbing or mechanical systems
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow direction
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to travel regionally as needed
Nice-to-Haves as the Junior Service Technician:
