What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Painter - Section 3 HUD position at Trueline Construction & Surfacing, Inc.?
Trueline Construction & Surfacing specializes in game court construction and resurfacing for all outdoor game courts. From basketball, tennis, paddle tennis and pickleball to roller hockey and shuffleboard. Trueline offers construction from the ground up, resurfacing, re-painting, designing, as well as equipment replacement.
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Industrial Painter to join our team for the duration of our scope of work on the Nicholson Park Improvements project.
*Applicants must reside in the City of El Monte.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
ü Painting and/or sport court surfacing experience is preferred.
ü Able to lift heavy materials up to 50lbs or greater.
ü Removing debris, dirt, and organic matter from the court surface.
ü Grinding, power washing, applying synthetic surfaces to the prepared base.
ü Able to follow directions when assisting the foreman and crew.
ü Provide own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
ü Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and best practices.
*SECTION 3 COMPLIANCE
· This position is open to Section 3 workers and targeted Section 3 workers, as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
· Section 3 aims to provide employment, training, and contracting opportunities to low-income individuals, especially those who are recipients of government assistance for housing or other public assistance programs.
