Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Restroom Attendant to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall hygiene of our restroom facilities. Duties

• Regularly inspect restrooms to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and safety standards are met.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, floors, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other necessary items to maintain optimal availability.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocols.
• Use custodial equipment like floor buffers and cleaning tools to perform deep cleaning tasks and floor care routines.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when moving supplies or cleaning equipment, adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Monitor restrooms for maintenance issues or hazards and report them promptly to facilities management for quick resolution.
• Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities, supply inventory levels, and safety compliance checks.
• Follow all safety protocols during janitorial duties to ensure a safe environment for yourself and others.
• Support general facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or touch-ups like residential painting or industrial cleaning.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience is highly preferred, especially with commercial or industrial cleaning environments.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and other custodial tools.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safe chemical handling procedures is essential.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness logs and inventory records.
• Customer service skills are valuable for interacting politely with staff and visitors when needed.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is a plus, demonstrating versatility in custodial responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
