What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Softener + Filtration Installer — Flexible Schedule, W2 Path Available position at TrueFlow Filtration Co?
TrueFlow Filtration is a new and growing local water filtration company in the North Dallas area. We install whole-home water softeners and reverse osmosis drinking water systems for homeowners.
We're looking for experienced, licensed water treatment or plumbing professionals who take pride in clean work and want flexible, well-paid installation work.
This starts as contract/part-time work (1-3 installs per week) with the opportunity to grow substantially as our customer volume increases. For the right person, our goal is to eventually transition this into a full-time W-2 position. We're investing heavily in marketing and growing quickly and our goal is to scale to 30-60 installs per month within the next 90 days.
What you'd be doing:
· Installing 10x54 whole-home water softener/filtration systems
· Installing under-sink 5-stage reverse osmosis systems (and potentially tankless ones)
· Basic plumbing tie-ins, testing, leak checks, and cleanup (Leaving a clean, professional installation is very important)
· Being professional and friendly with homeowners during installs
· Typical install takes 3-4 hours
What we need:
· Must hold an active TCEQ Water Treatment Specialist Class III license OR Texas Master Plumber license with Responsible Master Plumber (RMP) designation
· Must operate as an independent business/contractor and carry appropriate general liability insurance covering water treatment/plumbing installation work
· Your own tools and reliable transportation (company vehicle will be available as we grow)
· Ability to take install jobs with 48-72 hours notice
· Dependable and punctual
· Someone who shows up on time, does clean work, and doesn't cut corners
· Professional and comfortable working directly with homeowners — you're representing our company in their home
· Proof of active license and insurance will be required before performing installations
What you get:
· Approximately $440–$500 for a typical installation, depending on scope
· All water treatment systems and installation materials provided (installer provides their own tools)
· Flexible schedule — we work around yours
· Initial volume of approximately 1–3 installations per week
· Path to full-time W2 position as we scale.
