TheJunior AccountManager supports and assists in developing andmaintaininglong-term relationships withexistingcustomers.Responsibilities includeassisting and supporting Account Managers with understanding customersunique purchasingneeds, managing day-to-day requests,anddrivingused serviceable material (USM) salesto maximizecustomer satisfaction and revenue growth.Success in this rolerequires a combination of business acumen, relationship managementexpertise, and an understanding of the aviation industry.
This position works closely with Account Managers, Business Development, and Sales Support teams toensure that all materials sales transactions are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support Account Managers with strategic accountsand build strong relationships based on trust and professionalism.
- Assist Account Managers with fielding incomingrequests for quotation.
- Develop a deep understanding ofexistingclients' businessobjectives, challenges, and opportunities.
- Assist Account Managers and Business Developmentpeerswith
identifyingproactive opportunities to add valueforkey customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such asAccount Managers, Business Development,Sales Support, Product Line, Repairs, and Warehouse,
toensure customer satisfaction.
- Stayup to datewith industry trendsand emerging technologies.
- Attend industry conferences and networking events.
- Process sales orders
- Oversee shipments.
- Resolve common transaction errors
- Obtain
shipping instructions,
weights &
dims
- Gather and update
customer preferences
- Maintain high energy, a cooperative and positive attitude, and a great sense of humor
- Other tasks and projects as directed by management
Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 3 years experience in a customer-facingrole
- Prior aviation industry experience is a plus
- Strong communication, consultation, and relationship management skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to problem-solveand multitask in a fast-paced work environment
- ProficientinCRM andMicrosoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
