Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, forklifts, and tankers to support workover operations on oil rigs and construction sites
- Manage rigging activities, ensuring all lifting operations comply with safety standards and technical specifications
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of rigging gear, machinery, and safety equipment to guarantee operational readiness
- Assist in horizontal drilling activities and pipeline installation projects by supporting mechanical tasks and equipment setup
- Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
- Coordinate with team members to execute well interventions efficiently while adhering to project timelines
- Drive commercial vehicles such as tankers or other authorized vehicles as needed for site logistics or material transport
Skills
- Proven experience operating oil rigs and heavy construction equipment in oil & gas or construction environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to rigging, hydraulic systems, and machinery maintenance
- Familiarity with pipeline installation processes and horizontal drilling techniques
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, safety protocols, and operational procedures effectively
- Valid commercial driver’s license with tanker endorsement preferred for transportation duties
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to oilfield operations and construction sites
