Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Brewery / Brewhouse Operator to support the production of our natural wellness products. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining our commercial brewing and extraction equipment, preparing production batches according to established procedures, and maintaining a clean and sanitary production environment.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large commercial equipment, following detailed production procedures, handling physical tasks, and maintaining high standards for cleanliness, product quality, and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial brewhouse, brewing, heating, mixing, pumping, and related production equipment.
- Prepare and process production batches according to established recipes, batch records, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Measure and load ingredients accurately according to production specifications.
- Monitor temperature, time, volume, and other production parameters throughout each batch.
- Transfer finished product between brewing, holding, and filling equipment as required.
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of brew vessels, tanks, hoses, pumps, utensils, work surfaces, and other production equipment before and after use.
- Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and maintain a hygienic production environment.
- Complete production and sanitation records accurately for each batch.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and identify leaks, unusual noises, malfunctions, or other maintenance concerns.
- Assist with basic preventive maintenance and coordinate equipment service when necessary.
- Maintain organized storage of ingredients, equipment, cleaning supplies, and production materials.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food-safety procedures, company SOPs, and applicable safety requirements.
- Assist with bottling, packaging, labeling, inventory movement, and other production activities when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production facility.
- Immediately report product-quality, equipment, sanitation, or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating commercial brewing, food-processing, beverage-processing, extraction, or similar manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Experience with commercial tanks, pumps, hoses, heating systems, or liquid-processing equipment is a plus.
- Ability to carefully follow written recipes, SOPs, batch records, and cleaning procedures.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, accuracy, and product quality.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn the operation of commercial production equipment.
- Ability to accurately measure ingredients and record production information.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently after training.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment involving water, heat, steam, and cleaning processes.
- Ability to communicate equipment or production issues promptly.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive production tasks.
- Ability to safely lift and move ingredients, containers, hoses, and production materials.
- Comfortable working around commercial equipment, hot liquids, heated surfaces, and wet production areas.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the brewhouse and production area. The right person will not only operate the equipment but will take responsibility for keeping it clean, properly maintained, organized, and ready for production.
Attention to detail is especially important. Every batch must be produced consistently and according to our established quality, sanitation, and production standards.
