Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Assist in managing waitlists and communicating wait times to guests.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
- Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS for order management when necessary.
Skills
- Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, with a strong background in food service or hospitality.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with POS systems (TOAST and OPEN TABLE) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is advantageous.
Familiarity with Vegan diets is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
