We help manufacturing companies save cost on their direct material procurement, and reduce sourcing cycle time, and new product introduction time to market. We provide detailed cost insights of custom design parts for buyers and suppliers, a secure collaboration platform, and a marketplace to collaborate.
We seek a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our ranks. As our CTO, you will be critical in defining and executing our technical strategy and roadmap, building and leading our technical team and ensuring the high-quality and timely delivery of our software products and services. You will also collaborate closely with our CEO and other executives to raise capital and secure funding for our growth and expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to define and execute the company's technical strategy and roadmap.
- Lead the development of the company's software products and services, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Manage and coordinate offshore development teams to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and assess their potential impact on the company's product offerings.
- Build and manage the company's technical team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners and customers, ensuring their technical needs are met, and their feedback is incorporated into product development.
Requirements:
- Must have experience working in an early-stage start-up company and have successfully scaled a data-heavy SaaS solution.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products and services on time and within budget.
- Extensive experience managing and coordinating offshore development teams, including remote work and cultural differences.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build strong relationships with partners and customers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Understanding of user experience design and usability principles.
