Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in Baltimore, MD. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver one-on-one, evidence-based interventions focused on sports-related and general orthopedic conditions. Daily responsibilities include guiding patients through therapeutic exercise and manual therapy, monitoring progress, updating care plans, and documenting treatment in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. The role also involves educating patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and safe return-to-sport guidelines, as well as collaborating with other clinicians, physicians, and athletic staff to optimize outcomes. The Physical Therapist will contribute to a positive clinic environment, support scheduling and patient flow as needed, and uphold high standards of patient-centered care and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine and Physical Therapy, with the ability to apply evidence-based practices to sports and orthopedic conditions.
- Demonstrated experience in Rehabilitation and Patient Care, including one-on-one treatment, patient education, and progress monitoring.
- Ability to support exercise prescription components of treatment, including designing and explaining home exercise programs and self-management strategies.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
- Active Physical Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Maryland.
- Previous clinical experience in sports physical therapy, orthopedics, or outpatient settings is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with a commitment to inclusive, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, athletic environment, manage a caseload safely, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
