- Manage daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Supervise administrative and clinical staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Oversee medical records management, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate documentation using Open Dental System.
- Coordinate patient treatment plans by explaining procedures, financing options, and scheduling follow-up appointments to maximize patient understanding and satisfaction.
- Handle fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, billing processes, and insurance claims processing with managed care providers.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies such as JCAHO standards and HIPAA privacy rules.
- Support human resources functions like hiring, training, performance evaluations, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.

- Proven experience managing a dental or medical office with strong supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of Dental office management systems (Open Dental is a plus)
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical administrative support processes.
- Strong understanding of healthcare management practices, claims/billing procedures, verifying Insurance benefits, budgeting, and financial management.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating treatment plans and explaining financial options to patients.
- Knowledge of health regulation policies such as HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards.
- Prior experience supervising teams within healthcare settings; dental office experience preferred but not required.
