True Self Recovery is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our team at our Holiday Island, AR location. This position plays a key role in supporting the health and safety of our clients throughout their recovery journey.

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, 3 days on / 4 days on (rotating schedule)

Position Summary:
The Med Tech is responsible for the safe and accurate administration of medications to clients under the supervision of nursing and clinical staff, while maintaining thorough documentation and supporting overall client care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to clients in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document medication administration in client charts/EMR
• Monitor and report any adverse reactions or changes in client condition to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate medication counts and assist with inventory/ordering as needed
• Ensure proper storage, security, and handling of medications in compliance with state regulations
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, counselors, and other members of the treatment team
• Support clients with dignity, respect, and empathy in alignment with True Self Recovery's core values
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and State of Arkansas standards
• Complete required shift documentation and incident reports as needed

Qualifications:

• Current Med Tech certification (required)
• Previous experience in a behavioral health, detox, or residential treatment setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping individuals in recovery

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 48.0 per week
