Accounts Payable Specialist

THE PURPOSE:

This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices as well as responding to vendors’ inquiries accurately and timely.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in day‑to‑day AP operations and contribute to True Religion’s continued growth by being accountable for weekly deliverables.

THE ROLE (what you are accountable for)

• Process high‑volume vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and compliance with company policies
• Respond to vendor inquiries and vendor setup requests
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies or payment issues
• Maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation
• Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Assist with month‑end close activities related to accounts payable
• Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations
• Perform other AP‑related duties and projects as assigned

YOU ARE:

You bring a strong combination of knowledge and work ethic. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work, and approach challenges with both rigor and creativity.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum High School Diploma
• 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting
• Proven experience with understanding of accounts payable processes and internal controls
• Experience working in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Background in Retail, apparel, or consumer goods industry experience is a plus
• Experience with Full Circle or Medius is a plus

ADDITIONAL ROLE INFORMATION:

• Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $28.00– $30.00. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This range represents the low and high end of the expected base salary range for this role based on the applicable location. True Religion reasonably expects to pay within this range in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity.
