Role Description Hello! Welcome to True Pursuit. We are looking for a Full Time OR Part Time Mental Health Therapist to be based in one of our two New York City offices. In this role you will be able to provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to a diverse caseload across the lifespan, including toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting intake assessments and engage in weekly supervision
- Developing evidence-informed treatment plans in collaboration with clients and, when appropriate, their families.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, coordinate care with internal and external providers, and participate in case consultations or team meetings.
- Attend agency in-service training and staff meetings.
- Additional responsibilities may include crisis intervention, referrals to community resources, and contributing to a supportive, inclusive practice culture.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bilingual Spanish Therapists Preferred
- Licensed in New York as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or MHC-Limited Permit and must obtained within 90 days from the date of hire.
- Availability to commute to one of our NYC office locations at least 3x a week.
- Strong cultural competence and commitment to gender-neutral, non-discriminatory, trauma-informed care.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage a full-time clinical caseload on-site.
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
