Position Summary
True Opulence Home Health is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Health Aides to join our growing team. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide high-quality, non-medical personal care services that enable clients to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. We are committed to delivering exceptional care while treating every client with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
* Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
* Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
* Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean living environment.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce social isolation.
* Remind clients to take medications as directed (no medication administration).
* Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and transportation to appointments as authorized.
* Observe and report changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or mental condition to the appropriate supervisor.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
* Follow individualized care plans and agency policies and procedures.
* Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
* Practice infection prevention and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED preferred.
* Current Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Personal Care Worker certification preferred (as applicable under Wisconsin regulations).
* Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred but not required.
* Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
* Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance.
* Ability to pass a criminal background check and any required state screenings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely.
