What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Quality Assurance Tester position at True Oil LLC?

What You'll Do:
- Manual Testing: Execute manual software test cases to validate functionality, identify bugs, and ensure product performance meets expectations.
- Regression Maintenance: Assist with maintaining and updating test cases and regression suites as the product evolves.
- Bug Tracking: Document and report issues using Azure DevOps, collaborating with developers to verify fixes.
- Documentation (As Needed): Occasionally update user or testing documentation to support clarity and consistency.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in regular QA meetings and share feedback on test results and process improvements.
What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science or related program (Associate’s level preferred).
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts (manual or automated).
- Comfort working with computers, basic troubleshooting, and common software tools.
- Familiarity with or interest in tools like Azure DevOps, Git, or JavaScript is helpful but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
