What You'll Do:
- Oversee pipeline construction projects.
- Responsible for directing work of third-party contractors.
- Assign work and monitors construction costs and overall performance.
- Manage subordinate employees within pipeline operations.
- Responsible for the successful completion of all construction activities.
- Complete reports of job progress.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.
- Verify conformance.
- Assure all contractors and employees know and follow safety and work rules and policies.
- Assign work and monitor construction costs and overall performance.
- Monitor the job site for safety and quality of the work.
What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities
- Associate’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field with five (5) years of progressive construction or project management experience within the oil and gas/midstream pipeline industry; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Proven experience managing pipeline construction projects, including gathering systems, transmission lines, and associated facilities.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards specific to pipeline construction.
- Experience coordinating with engineering, operations, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., PHMSA, OSHA).
- Proficiency with project management tools and construction documentation systems.
Computer Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) for reporting, tracking, and communication.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar).
- Familiarity with construction management and document control systems.
- Ability to review and interpret CAD drawings and construction plans.
- Experience with cost tracking, scheduling tools, and digital reporting platforms.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
