What You'll Do:
- Performs transactional AP entries.
- Performs advanced data entry into multiple accounting systems.
- Reviews and validates data entries.
- Performs complex account reconciliations.
- Utilizes and analyzes data reporting.
- Drafts and creates standard operating procedures and workflows.
- Works with internal customers and vendors to resolve questions and problems.
- Prioritize invoices to meet payment deadlines and take advantage of discounts.
- Performs higher level projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities
- A high school diploma and two (2) or more years of experience in an accounting environment; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, computer reports and accounts receivable or accounts payable reports.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook software applications.
- Understanding of basic database programs.
- Ability to use 10-key by touch.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
