We are seeking a motivated and dependable Ready Mix Driver to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as concrete mixers to transport materials to designated sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, ensuring mechanical safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery schedules, and documentation for each trip.
- Assist with on-site tasks such as concrete pouring
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, construction site hazards, and transportation regulations.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and site personnel to coordinate delivery times and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience operating concrete mixers in a construction environment.
- Prior commercial vehicle driving experience with a valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL driver’s license suitable for operating large trucks or mixers.
- Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and ability to adhere strictly to OSHA standards.
- Familiarity with concrete pumping, finishing techniques, rebar installation, and concrete forming is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude for routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations related to commercial driving across different jurisdictions.
