Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis, visualization tools, and project management methodologies to support various business initiatives. Duties

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key performance indicators.
• Conduct thorough data analysis using SQL, R, and Python to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
• Implement ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability for reporting purposes.
• Participate in Agile project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Utilize database design principles to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
• Develop documentation for data models, processes, and workflows using tools like Visio.
• Support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by collaborating with development teams on analytics-related projects.
• Stay current with industry trends in business intelligence and analytics to continuously improve processes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools like Talend or Oracle.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis tasks.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
• Experience in database design and management using Microsoft SQL Server or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with VBA or Bash (Unix shell) scripting is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
