Immigration Legal Assistant (Eloy Detention Intake Focus)

(Remote while office is being completed, then in-office at 35th Ave & Glendale) Eloy Detention Center Travel Required

What You’ll Be Doing:
This role blends legal assistant responsibilities, intake coordination, and field-based client support.
Detention Work (Eloy):
- Conduct in-person intakes with detained individuals
- Gather case details, documentation, and eligibility information
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients under stress
Client Intake & Case Support:
- Manage inbound leads and consultations
- Collect, organize, and track client documentation
- Assist with immigration forms and case preparation
- Maintain accurate records in CRM/case management systems
Client Communication:
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and families
- Set expectations and clearly communicate next steps
- Maintain consistent and reliable follow-up
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Immigration law experience (immigration paralegal, family-based, removal defense, or humanitarian preferred)
- Spanish fluency (spoken and written)
- Strong communication and client interaction skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Reliable transportation for travel to Eloy Detention Center
Preferred:
- Prior detention case experience
- Familiarity with systems such as Docketwise, Filevine, or similar
- Intake, sales, or client conversion experience
