What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Real Estate Agent position at True North CRE?
I'm hiring one broker. Not five. Not a class. One.
I'm looking to add a multifamily investment sales broker to our team at True North CRE / Compass Commercial in Beverly Hills. One seat. The right person.
Here's the honest pitch:
I don't need someone who already knows how to build a polished BOV from scratch. I'll teach you that. I'll teach you Excel, I'll teach you how to sit across from an owner who's been holding a building since 1987 and earn the listing.
What I can't teach is the willingness to pick up the phone 100 times a day. The hunger to book the meeting. The grit to keep dialing after the tenth no.
What you bring:
• Prior sales or brokerage experience — you've carried a quota, worked a phone, closed something
• Basic multifamily underwriting knowledge — you can read a rent roll, understand cap rates and NOI, run simple numbers on a deal. Nothing complex. I'll teach you the rest.
• A real work ethic and a high tolerance for rejection
• Coachability — you actually want to learn, not just hear yourself talk
• DRE license (or actively pursuing)
• LA-based
What you get:
• 100% commission with above-market splits
• A seat in real owner meetings and listing presentations from day one — you'll learn by being in the room
• Hands-on mentorship from me directly. Underwriting, BOVs, Excel, the whole craft
• A genuinely collaborative team — we share comps, share intel, share wins. Nobody hoards here.
• A modern, AI-driven workflow that punches above our weight
• Unlimited ceiling. Whatever you build, you keep building on.
If you're tired of being a small piece on a big team where nobody's investing in you — let's talk.
