Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our growing landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns and landscapes by performing a variety of groundskeeping tasks. Duties
- Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools to maintain lawns and gardens efficiently
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, planting, and weed control to ensure healthy growth and tidy appearances
- Use power tools and machinery like excavators for hardscape installation or removal projects
- Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote safety and aesthetics
- Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating lawn care machinery and hand tools
- Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or horticulture preferred
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and garden design principles
- Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, excavators, and snow plows safely and effectively
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and planting techniques
- Experience working with irrigation systems and general gardening practices is a plus
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in every task
