Part-Time CNA (Home Care)

Join our dedicated home care team as a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and observe patient conditions, recording vital signs and reporting changes promptly
• Support medication reminders following proper procedures and documentation standards
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document care activities accurately
• Provide specialized care such as Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, hospice, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities
• Operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality at all times
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs
• Support clients in community settings by helping with transportation and community engagement activities

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification with current active state licensure required
• Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred at least 2 years
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures such as catheter care and CPR certification required
• Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, dementia or Alzheimer’s care highly desirable
• Ability to accurately monitor vital signs and perform patient observation
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, patient-centered care
• Ability to work independently while following established protocols and safety standards
