Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
- Implement cleaning and sanitation protocols to ensure health and safety standards are met or exceeded
- Operate various cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively, including vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial supplies
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items as needed
- Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work with proper technique to prevent injury
- Ensure proper use of cleaning detergents and chemicals
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with outdoor work environments is a plus
- Valid experience in custodial or housekeeping roles with a focus on cleanliness and customer satisfaction
