Are you an experienced upholstery professional with a passion for precision and quality? We're looking for a skilled Upholstery Technician to join our dynamic team in the fitness equipment industry.
What You'll Do:
- Upholster seats, pads, and components for commercial and high-end fitness equipment
- Cut, sew, and assemble custom vinyl and foam coverings to spec
- Perform repairs and refurbishments on existing equipment
- Ensure all finished products meet stringent quality standards for performance and aesthetics
- Collaborate with the production and design teams for continuous improvement and innovation
What We're Looking For:
- 2 years of upholstery experience (fitness, automotive, marine, or aerospace preferred)
- Skilled in using industrial sewing machines, cutters, and staple guns
- High attention to detail and strong craftsmanship
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings or templates
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a focus on quality and efficiency
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with high-durability materials (e.g. marine-grade vinyl, technical fabrics)
- Background in upholstery for high-traffic or high-performance environments
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or custom fabrication environments
