What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Financial Advisor position at True Financial Partners?
We are searching for a motivated individual who is relationship-driven and seeks a long-term opportunity to help shape an already successful financial planning practice to join our team as an Advisor. Alongside our founders, you will be responsible for caring for a specific group of clients and developing new business, acting ethically and honestly as a fiduciary to ensure the client’s best interests are of primary focus.

The base salary for newer advisors is $50,000–$75,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This range is designed for candidates with up to five years of advisory experience. A bonus program is offered as well.
Responsibilities:
- Build a client base through educational seminars, workshops, referrals, etc.
- Gather and analyze client information, including income, assets, investments, and debts.
- Identify and educate prospects about financial products that best align with client needs and circumstances.
- Provide informed recommendations on wealth management strategies, including income planning, tax efficiency, healthcare, estate planning, and investments.
- Proactively prospect new clients through outreach, networking, and marketing initiatives.
- Develop and present customized financial plans tailored to client goals.
- Document all client interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Operate proactively in managing client-related tasks and communications.
- Support Client Service Managers with processing service requests and ensure timely responses to client inquiries.
- Maintain strict adherence to compliance guidelines and industry best practices.
- Continuously expand knowledge of financial planning trends and regulatory updates.
- Keep required licensure active and in good standing.
- Encouraged to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, CFP®
Qualifications:
- Series 65 or equivalent licensing (required)
- Life and Health Insurance licensing (required)
- 1-3 years of experience as a licensed financial advisor (preferred)
- BA/BS degree (preferred)
- Ability to build strong relationships through open, honest communication
- Highly process-driven, with a strong commitment to follow-through
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and excellence
- Effective presentation and public speaking skills
- Strong knowledge of financial planning principles, investment strategies, and risk management
