True Country Equipment is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Lube Tech / Entry-Level Technician to join our shop in Lincoln, MO. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and experienced with basic maintenance on equipment, vehicles, and machinery.
This position focuses on routine service, preventive maintenance, and assisting with repairs on ag, construction, and automotive equipment. Prior experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who shows strong work ethic and mechanical ability.
Duties
- Perform oil changes and routine service on:
- Tractors
- Skid steers
- Construction and ag equipment
- Automobiles and light trucks
- Change brakes and basic wear components
- Perform hydraulic oil and filter changes
- Change tracks on skid steers
- Conduct basic inspections and preventive maintenance
- Remove and replace parts as needed
- Assist senior technicians with repairs and diagnostics
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with shop organization and basic facility maintenance as needed
Qualifications
- Entry-level to junior technician experience preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge required
- Hands-on experience working on equipment, vehicles, or machinery (shop, farm, fleet, school, or personal)
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic shop equipment
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy components safely
- Willingness to learn, follow procedures, and take direction
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Valid driver's license required
