Duties
Answer incoming calls with genuine warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism, creating an inviting and reassuring experience for every caller.
Proactively engage with prospective patients, providing information about our urgent care services and encouraging them to visit our clinic.
Serve as a patient liaison, ensuring each person feels heard, valued, and guided through scheduling, questions, and follow-up needs.
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including insurance verification and document collection.
Maintain accurate and organized medical records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards and HIPAA regulations.
Support the medical team with administrative duties such as correspondence, filing, medical records requests, and general clerical work.
Follow up with patients to confirm appointments, relay information, and foster lasting relationships with our clinic.
Represent the mission of True Compassion Urgent Care in every interaction, embodying empathy, professionalism, and genuine care.
Qualifications
Outstanding phone presence with a naturally friendly, upbeat, and compassionate communication style.
Previous experience in a front desk, customer service, or patient-facing role preferred, especially in a healthcare setting.
Familiarity with medical terminology and administrative workflows is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced urgent care environment while keeping a positive attitude.
A proactive, self-motivated personality who takes initiative to attract and retain patients.
Excellent interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
