Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide essential assistance to a client with developmental disability. The client needs support Monday through Friday. Client is a male, 64 years of age.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to promoting independence, safety, and well-being through personalized care and effective communication. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive environment that encourages growth, social engagement, and community integration.
Duties:
* assists in all daily living activities
* assists in reading mail and filing it
* assists in attending scheduled doctors' appointments
* assists to get to the bank, grocery shop, and laundromat
*to find community events that interest the client and take them
* assists in organizing paperwork
*assists in cleaning the client's home (including deep cleaning)
Pay: $17.00 per hour
