Requirements

• Must be 16yrs of age or older
• Must have a valid driver's liscense
• Must have your own reliable transportation
• Must have a working cell phone
• Must be dependable

Skills

• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care is highly desirable but NOT REQUIRED.
• Making it to work ON TIME and be DEPENDABLE.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.

Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) in their own home, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Support clients with medication reminders (only.) We do not administer medication.
• Prepare meals for current day and sometimes in advance for them to warm up later.
• Inform the office of any changes in conditions or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning living room, dining room, bathroom, bedroom, laundry, and organizing personal spaces along with companionship.
• Provide some transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community activities to promote social engagement and independence
• Document care activities accurately while respecting HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and proper communication within the care team

Job Location

We provide services in all of Jefferson County (Fort Atkinson, Whitewater, Jefferson, Johnson Creek, Waterloo, Watertown, and surrounding areas).

• Choose the distance you are wanting to travel. We do not make you travel to a city you do not want to go to.
• Choose to stay in town or expand to other areas.
• Currently looking for the Fort, Jefferson, Whitewater and Watertown area!

Hours

You choose the hours you are available. The more hours of availability you offer, the more hours we can give. If you are looking for PT or FT we can create a schedule that works for you. We are currently looking for Day help M-F between 8a-3p and every other weekend (6:30a-11a).

We do have a requirement of at least 4hrs a week.
