As a Barista, cashier or kitchen helper you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee drinks, food and maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will be pivotal in creating memorable experiences for our customers while showcasing your skills in food preparation and service.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and care.
- Operate the POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation and serving items from the menu while adhering to food handling guidelines.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for sales and retail math applications.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
