Job Summary
True Coat Pro Painting & Drywall is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our growing team. We specialize in residential and light commercial remodeling, painting, drywall, and finish carpentry throughout the St. Louis area.
We're looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in quality workmanship, can lead a crew, communicate professionally with customers, and keep projects moving efficiently. This is a working lead position—you'll be on the tools while helping manage the job from start to finish.

Duties
- Lead and supervise residential and light commercial carpentry projects.
- Install doors, trim, baseboards, crown molding, casing, cabinets, shelving, and hardware.
- Perform finish carpentry, framing, drywall repairs, and light remodeling.
- Read project scopes, drawings, and measurements accurately.
- Coordinate daily tasks with crew members and subcontractors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and project managers.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet True Coat's quality standards.
- Troubleshoot jobsite issues and provide solutions as they arise.
- Assist with painting, drywall, and general construction tasks when needed.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience.
- Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred.
- Strong finish carpentry skills.
- Experience with residential remodeling and repairs.
- Ability to read plans and follow project scopes.
- Knowledge of drywall installation and repairs.
- Comfortable using standard hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work from ladders.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
