Floor Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning flooring surfaces within commercial and residential settings. This includes carpet cleaning, tile cleaning, and on occasional upholstery cleaning. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is appreciated, but training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers an opportunity to develop specialized skills in floor care and commercial cleaning.

Duties

• Conduct carpet and tile cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to remove stains and maintain appearance
• Maintain cleanliness of all designated areas by performing janitorial tasks such as trash removal and surface disinfection.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently following established protocols
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Adhere to environmental standards and best practices for sustainable cleaning methods
• Making sure Van environmen is clean and organized at all times.

Qualifications

• 5 years of driving experience with a clean driving record
• Outgoing and able to professionally carry on conversations.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively
• Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled hours
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
