Shop Foreman

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead daily operations in our countertop fabrication shop. This role oversees production flow, quality, safety, and team performance while working hands-on alongside the fabrication team. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, deep fabrication knowledge, and a commitment to quality and efficiency. The Shop Foreman will serve as a key point of contact between project managers, clients, and the field team to facilitate smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily countertop fabrication operations
• Coordinate workflow to meet production and installation schedules
• Review work orders, drawings, and templates for accuracy
• Ensure high-quality fabrication, finishing, and consistency
• Train, coach, and support shop employees
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized shop
• Troubleshoot production issues and reduce rework and waste
• Communicate job status and issues with operations, sales, and installation teams

Skills

• 5 years of countertop fabrication experience (granite, quartz, marble, solid surface)
• Previous lead, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of fabrication equipment and shop processes
• Ability to read shop drawings and templates
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to work in a fabrication shop environment
• Ability to lift heavy materials with assistance or equipment
• Standing, walking, and working on your feet throughout the day
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery and stone materials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
