This role reports directly to the Outpatient Program Director, contributing to the objectives of FR Health and its mission. While providing substance use assessment and individual and group counseling, this licensed professional participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning and client-centered care and treatment.Responsibilities:• Carry a caseload of consistent clients• Oversee the daily treatment experience of each of his/her clients• Maintain appropriate documentation as required• Conduct SUD assessments of clients at the time of admission and reassessments as required• Provide case management• Provide appropriate treatment recommendations based on a review of the client’s history, signs, and symptoms• Provide individual and group counseling• Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversity of clients and staff• Crisis intervention services• Treatment Planning• Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and related issues• Participates in regular team meetings• Assists with Equine assisted therapy, or other off-site programming, as needed• Participates on the Critical Incident Response team on a continual basis• Other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:• Specific qualifications may vary based on assignment• Must be at least 18 years of age• Licensed or registration with The Washington State Department of Health as a SUDP• Minimum of two years’ experience in evaluating and/or treating persons suffering from mental illness and/or substance abuse• Current First Aid/CPR certificationCompetencies:• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen• Solid relationship building capabilities• Experience and knowledge related to utilizing ASAM criteria for SUD assessment and treatment• Provide appropriate treatment recommendations based on a review of the client’s history, signs, and symptoms• Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversity of clients and staff• Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and related issues • Ability to work as an integrated part of a treatment team• Ability to manage crises and assess risk.• Excellent management of caseload (including groups, individual sessions, and family contact/sessions).• Strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines regarding patient confidentiality.• Ability to establish appropriate boundaries with clients and staff.• Commitment to cultural diversity and sensitivity.Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office and some off-site locations, such as equine therapy providers. Salary : $75,000 - $105,000
