Duties

  • Actively engage in outside sales efforts by prospecting new clients through cold calling, networking, and community outreach to expand the sales pipeline.
  • Demonstrate vehicles’ features and benefits confidently, tailoring presentations to meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Negotiate deals effectively, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining dealership profitability.
  • Manage B2B (business-to-business) sales opportunities by establishing partnerships with corporate clients and fleet buyers.
  • Upsell additional products such as warranties, service packages, and accessories to maximize revenue per sale.
  • Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track leads, follow-ups, and sales progress efficiently.
  • Maintain organized inventory control and support dealership operations through inventory management and retail math skills.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone etiquette and in-person interactions.
  • Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional events and outreach campaigns to attract new customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on outbound sales strategies, ensuring a steady flow of qualified prospects.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales environments; dealership experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-end or complex deals.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases.
  • Demonstrated ability in outside sales, B2B sales, cold calling, and building a robust sales pipeline.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and inventory management systems to streamline sales processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and retail math calculations.
  • Ability to deliver compelling public speaking presentations when representing the dealership at events or meetings.
  • Knowledge of automotive products, inventory management, and automotive marketing strategies.
  • High energy with a proactive approach to upselling and customer engagement; strong phone etiquette is essential.
