- Regular contact with potential prospects selling a wide variety of products including rental services to the transportation industry
- Help prepare quote pricing on truck rental opportunities
- Monitor and provide feedback on the company’s industry competitors, new services, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
- Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers as needed
- Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
- Coordinate weekly and monthly billings
- Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially
- Work closely with the sales team to help build the brand
- Occasional travel to local branches
- Coordinate with Sales team and Service departments on equipment needs
- Assist in moving equipment from location to location
- Manage staff of drivers to pick up and deliver assets for rental and/or service
- Communicate with customers on arrival times of equipment
- Oversee the New Equipment inbound and Used Equipment outbound processes
- Make sales calls as needed when equipment is sitting idle
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior rental and/or service sales experience required preferably in the transportation industry
- Must have demonstrated internal customer service skills, including troubleshooting and problem-solving experiences.
- Must have demonstrated strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Able to communicate effectively both in-person and through written correspondence with peers, managers, and leadership.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.
