This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of day-to-day technical execution and help keep vehicles moving through builds quickly and safely.Business priority: We need to outfit vehicles with Gen2 tech ASAP—speed, accuracy, and organization matter.What You’ll DoTroubleshoot vehicle systems, sensors, and computer components using root-cause analysis and calibration methodsAssemble prototypes, electrical wiring, and cable assemblies based on engineering instructionsRead and work from electrical schematics and datasheetsWrite/maintain detailed assembly procedures for repeatable buildsSupport a safe, efficient lab environment by minimizing vehicle downtimeManage inventory for components and lab supplies (accurate tracking organization)Own procurement for key parts, coordinate orders, and maintain supplier relationshipsRequired Qualifications2 years technical experience in mechanical, electrical, computer, automotive, robotics, or similar hands-on environmentsProven ability to build and rework harnesses/cable assemblies and perform electrical wiring to specSoldering skills and high-quality workmanship in shop/lab/assembly settingsExperience with shop equipment, 3D printers, and automotive diagnostic toolsStrong organization, documentation, and communication skillsThrives in a fast-paced environment; eager to learn new technologiesNice-to-Have (Ideal Profile)Familiarity with Python (or other scripting) for troubleshooting/automationWorking knowledge of Linux and ROSCNC/machining, metalworking, or welding experienceAutomotive repair/maintenance backgroundHands-on experience with AV sensors: LiDAR, radar, camerasAbility to design and prototype custom harness cablesCAD familiarity (SolidWorks preferred) for viewing/modifying 3D modelsWhy This RoleYou’ll be part of a team building real hardware under real deadlines—fast iterations, high impact, and opportunity to grow your skill set around next-gen vehicle technology.Ready to move quickly?
