Overview
We are seeking experienced CDL A Hazmat Drivers to support overnight transportation of hazardous materials. This role is ideal for safety-focused drivers who are comfortable working night shifts and operating multiple trailer types in a highly regulated environment.
You will play a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient transportation while maintaining strict adherence to federal and Texas DOT regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport hazardous materials during overnight routes
- Operate various equipment including:
- Flatbeds
- Refrigerated trailers (reefers)
- Dry vans
- Ensure full compliance with federal and Texas DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIRs)
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and issues
Schedule & Shifts
- Sunday–Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Wednesday–Saturday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Average: 40 regular hours ~8 hours overtime per week
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with Hazmat endorsement (required)
- Minimum 2 years of Hazmat driving experience
- Minimum 2 years of overnight/night driving experience
- Experience operating flatbeds, reefers, and dry vans
- Strong knowledge of Texas DOT regulations and compliance
- Clean driving record and strong safety mindset
