20-ton Heavy Machinery Operator
Location: Morgan Hill, CA
Pay: $45 per hour(non-negotiable)
Schedule: Full-time (30 hours per week)
Work Type: On-site

About the Role
Machinery Operators to help test and operate large mining AUTONOMOUS vehicles. This role focuses on safely operating 20-ton vehicles, inspecting equipment, and providing feedback to engineering teams to improve vehicle performance and safety systems.

What You’ll Do
- Operate 20-ton mining vehicles and other fleet equipment safely
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete DVIR reports
- Report any maintenance or performance issues
- Drive and operate vehicles for testing and evaluation
- Provide written and verbal feedback to engineering teams about vehicle performance
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Travel up to 50% when needed to support testing activities
Requirements
- At least 5 years of verifiable heavy machinery operating experience
- Comfortable operating and backing large 20-ton vehicles
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time
- Clean driving record
- Must pass a background check, road test, DOT physical, and drug test
- Professional attitude and ability to follow instructions
Preferred (Not Required)
CDL Class A license
Work Schedule
12-hour shifts with alternating weeks:
Week 1: 3 days on, 4 days off
Week 2: 4 days on, 3 days off
First week of training may take place in Sunnyvale, CA. After training, work will be based in Morgan Hill.
