Class A CDL Driver – Local/Regional | Home Daily
Windsor, Connecticut
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver for a temp-to-hire opportunity based out of Windsor, CT. This position offers consistent weekday hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to join a growing team.
Position Details
- Pay: $29/hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM (plus overtime as needed)
- Route Type: Local / Regional – Home Daily
- Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local and regional routes
- Deliver freight efficiently while ensuring on-time service
- Perform touch freight deliveries using a lift gate and pallet jack
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license with 1 year Class A Driving experience
- Experience with both manual and automatic transmissions
- Ability to handle physical work, including touch freight
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and reliability
