What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Driver/CDL-A/Home Daily /Touch Freight position at Truck with Jed Logistics?
Hiring immediately for Class A Driver!
Must live within 40 miles of Hatfield, MA
CDL- A Driver / Truck Driver Responsibilities:
- Home Daily; Reefer trailer
- Driver unload into stores using electric pallet jack; driver to pick up backhauls occasionally
- Driver will be off on Sundays-Thursday Shift; 9am-1pm start time
- 31 stops per week: stop pay: $19-$20.50 per pay
- 12-14 hour shifts
- Box trailers; day cab
- $.50cpm - $.54cpm
- $100 for occasional layover
- Daily rate pay: $50 daily
- NYC and the 5 Boroughs stop pay: $30-$31.50 per stop
- Deliver groceries in NJ, MA, VT, RI, NH, ME, PA, parts of NY upstate
- Driver must have own transportation to and from work
- No Failed Drug Test or Drug Test Refusals
CDL-A Driver / Truck Driver Requirements:
- 3 months T/T exp within the past 6 months with one carrier only
- 6 mos T/T exp within past year; 1 yr T/T exp within past 5 years
- Local experience counts for Home Daily position only
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- No more than 5 jobs in the past 3 years
- No more than 3 incidents in the past 3 years
- Only 1 major moving violation in the past 3 years
- No more than 3 DOT Recordable Accidents in the past 3 years
- Most Terminations will be reviewed if it was not safety related
- No more than 1 DUI's/DWI's and it must be over 5 years old
- Urine & hair drug screen required
- Weekly pay
- Holiday pay: $160 per day
- Paid orientation
- New hire training: $200 per day
