Truck Taxi is seeking a Driver/Laborer for our growing clean out division. This role is an exciting opportunity for the team member who does not like to sit in an office! You will travel around Boston and surrounding areas. Our clients include but are not limited to universities, healthcare facilities, and residences.

The primary responsibilities of this role will be to safely operate the Truck Taxi Vehicle, manage all functions of Truck Taxi. Including clean out, material transport, dumping, and providing out clients with a professional experience.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive Truck Taxi Boston and the surrounding areas, adhering to all traffic rules and regulations.
• Provide thorough clean out and proper disposal of all materials according to Truck Taxi policy.
• Provide outstanding customer service and act as a brand ambassador for Truck Taxi.
• Optimize drive time and handle changes throughout the day.
• Keep truck clean of personal items.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Wear a proper, clean uniform each day.
• Other such duties that may be assigned.
• Arrive on time at the warehouse.
• Inspect truck’s lights, fuel level, tools, equipment.
• Ensure trucks are safety parked and returned in the designated area.
• Minimize damage to common areas when moving materials.
• Refuel truck if below a quarter of a tank.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable and verifiable driving record (CDL not required)
• Must have an in-depth driving and general knowledge of Greater Boston and surrounding areas.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with the general public, law enforcement and emergency personnel; fluency in world languages strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift 80 pounds.
• Ability to deal with ever changing schedules and high stress environments.
• Ensure trucks are safety parked and returned in the designated area.
• Minimize damage to common areas when moving materials.
• Refuel truck if below a quarter of a tank.
• Fluent in Spanish

Job Type:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Variable days/hours
• Starting at $22/hour ability to increase rate in 90 days!

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
