Business Forecast Analyst

Essential Job Functions

• Forecast Development:
• Own the end-to-end forecasting process, generating ski-level projections 24
  
  

months into the future to support strategic planning and decision making.

• Apply statistical models and forecasting tools to improve accuracy and
  
  

responsiveness.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Production teams to gather
  
  

insights and align forecasts with business goals.

• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Analyze forecast accuracy and identify root causes of variance.
• Develop dashboards and reports to communicate forecast performance and key
  
  

metrics to stakeholders.

• Produce monthly reports including hours, rebate-related sales, and data
  
  

packages.

• Support strategic meetings through data preparation for Intro, SIOP, 5YP, and
  
  

SGI sessions.

• Inventory & Capacity Planning Support:
• Generate and analyze 3-month demand estimates and actuals to support
  
  

planning accuracy.

• Manage and maintain daily reporting on past due shipments, shipping
  
  

performance and cost/hours tracking.

• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in demand
  
  

planning.

• Position requires compliance with the Technology Control Plan and the Federal Export
  
  

Control Policy established for the Corporation.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management,
  
  

Mathematics, or related field (master's degree preferred).

• 5 years of experience in forecasting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytics tools (prefer Power BI, AS400
  
  

Query, Reports Now).

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with SIOP processes and cross-functional collaboration
