What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck and Trailer Technician position at Truck Equipment Inc.?

Our team is rapidly expanding, and we’re searching for a Trailer Repair Technician! You’ll work on new and previously owned semi-trailers. The successful applicant is reliable and willing to learn. If you enjoy working with vehicles and want a new challenge, please apply today!

As a Trailer Repair Tech, you would:

· Repair and install new and previously owned Semi-trailers.

· Examine vehicle & determine nature, extent of damage or malfunction.

· Plan work procedures utilizing charts, technical manuals and experience.

· Work from general assignment and proceed with minimal supervision and direction.

Ideally, you will:

· Have knowledge of Trailer Repair, Brakes, Suspensions, DOT Inspection, Air Systems.

· Be highly organized and motivated.

· Be able to communicate and work well with a diverse group of individuals.

· Be able to problem solve.

· Be able to weld.

· Have solid mechanical knowledge.

· Have Basic Hand tools
