What are the responsibilities and job description for the SHOP CUSTODIAN - Omaha position at TRUCK CENTER COMPANIES?
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
I. CUSTODIAL:
A. Perform any general maintenance in and around building.
B. Empty trash.
C. Clean inside of building.
D. Check waste oil on Friday night.
E. Properly dispose of used oil filters after draining.
F. Pick up rags.
G. Assist technicians with oil and water spills and emptying drain tubs.
H. Perform maintenance of shop tools, heaters, air compressor and steam cleaners.
II. DETAILING:
A. Wash vehicle exterior, using cloths and brushes.
B. Vacuum interior of vehicles using vacuum cleaner.
C. Clean engine and engine compartment with equipment and various cleaning agents.
D. Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following recommendations of the product's manufacturer.
III. OTHER DUTIES:
A. Document work performed on appropriate labor ticket.
B. Punch labor tickets on time clock at beginning and end of each work session for each operation.
C. Project a positive, helpful, and professional attitude to management and coworkers.
D. Perform any other tasks or duties as requested.

Qualifications:ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR JOB:
1. Must have a Commercial Drivers License and the ability to drive class 8 trucks. Classification "B" minimum.
2. Must be capable of lifting 100 lbs.
3. Have knowledge and expertise in using and operating tools, e.g. steam cleaner, buffer, drills, etc.
4. Must have reading skills.
5. Small set of hand tools required for detail work on used as prescribed by the Service Manager.
All overtime to be approved by supervisor. Tardiness will not be tolerated and will be documented.
